Mask

Items needed:
small black party mask
gold round sequins
White glue
12" small dowel rod (if desired)
glue gun
1/4 inch wide gold ribbon (about 1 yard)
long black feathers (about 2 1/2 dozen)
gold spray paint
silk flower (about 1 inch in diameter)
Directions:
Using white glue, attach gold sequins around outside of mask and eyeholes. Allow to dry.
Spray about 6 of the feathers lightly with the gold paint. Allow to dry.
Attach the black feathers by using either the glue or glue gun in a half circle on one side of black mask. Attach the gold feathers on top of the block feathers evenly.
Now a decision is to be made. You can either make your mask with a rod "holder" or without.
If you don't want a "holder", cut the gold ribbon into a piece about the length of your feathers and attach one end to the center of the feathers allowing the ribbon to fall down. Attach the silk flower to the top of the ribbon (in the center of the feathers).
If you do want a "holder", attach the gold ribbon to the top of the dowel rod and wrap around the length of the rod. Secure at the bottom with a dot of glue. Attach the rod to the center of the feathers with the glue gun. Attach the silk flower to the top of the rod (in the center of the feathers).
Note: Black and gold have been used here, but any color combination can be used.
