Pumpkin Cars









Items Needed:

small pumpkin
4 round wooden or plastic disks
4 long screws or bolts
piece of small round pipe (1/2 inch or 1/4 inch depending on size of pumpkin)
black paint
small license plate (found in alot of stores like WalMart/KMart etc.)


Directions:
Cut the top off the pumpkin and clean the inside well. With a knife cut out the "eyes" and "mouth", not going all the way through the pumpkin. Paint the inside of the eyes and mouth with black paint.

If a hole is not already in your wooden disk, drill a hole in the center and thread the screw through it. Make sure the screws are long enough so they extend out of the disk about 3/4 to 1 inch. Place the "wheels" on the pumpkin as shown in picture above.

Cut out a hole in the "back" of the pumpkin for the "exhaust pipe" big enough to hold your piece of round pipe.

Now you can either fill it with wrapped candy, or (as in picture) put little stuffed animals as "drivers".
