Hand Stitched Note Cards

Beautifully sewn and embellished note cards that you can make yourself, by using the decorative stitch settings on your sewing machine. Make holiday-themed cards, thank you notes, even place cards for table settings. It's a great project for teens and kids, too!

Supplies:
Colored note cards and envelopes
Thread
Fabric, cut into shapes
Tacky craft glue
Sequins, gems, and appliqué shapes
Decorative trim and ribbon
Instructions

1. Set your machine to the decorative stitch setting of your choice.

2. For fabric shapes, apply the tacky glue to the wrong side of the fabric and place on the card where desired. Let the glue dry.

3. Sew along the outside edge of the fabric shape.

4. For decorative trims and ribbons, sew using a regular stitch.

5. Glue on any decorative embellishments.
