This is a picture of my mother and father. *S*...
Unfortunely, they were divorced when I was about 13 and both remarried. So this picture was really impossible to be taken. But as they say "Where's there's a will, there's a way". I took a picture of each of them and clipped each out and merged them together and got the picture I wanted. I really like it. *S*
Here is a picture of them on their wedding day in 1934.

What can a daughter say about her parents that every daughter in the world hasn't already said?
My father, being away from me for most of my teens and most of my adult life, is hard to say to much about. As I had told my mother once, I love my father because he is my father, but we just don't have anything in common. I never got along with his wife so we never went around him very much. But the times that he and I got to spend alone, we really enjoyed ourselves for those few minutes. I know deep in my heart that daddy loved me, but he could never show his feelings to anyone.
My mother on the other hand, had to raise my sister and I on very little. However, she always made sure we had full tummies, nice clothes and every friday we went out for dinner. One week would be a nice steak in a restaurant, the next would be McDonald's take home. She made sure both of us girls always had a dime to make a phone call home when we were old enough to go on dates. When the boyfriends started showing up, she was right in there playing games on the frontroom floor with the rest of us, fixing tacos for the whole bunch when the boys were having a contest as to how many they could eat. She had as much fun as my sister and I did. I have so many wonderful memories of my mother, I still feel she is here with me.

Mother----Daddy----I love you both ! And I always will!!
