"From The Heart"

"From The Heart"

ALONE
I walked thru life in alot of pain,
no matter how I tried, I never gained.
I lived all these years
Seeing life thru only tears.
Wishing and dreaming love would someday
Come my way.
Just to feel a gentle touch,
That wouldn't be asking to much.
To feel arms around me holding me tight,
To feel passion to it's fullest height.
The days seem to pass by so fast,
Only to reach the lonely night that seems to last and last,
Then the emptiness sets in,
And the night is just beginning.
So I lay and wonder if I'll ever feel
A true love that is ever real.
Soon night passes by,
The sun rises in the sky,
Only to realize it will set again tonight,
And I'll still have no one to hold me tight.

We Are Not All Angels
An angel brings a magic pen
And comes with a scenario.
A story based on love and truth,
To write into your dreamy dreams.
And oh what writers they can be,
They scribe a tale most heavenly.
And when your eyes close for the night,
They'll write of lovely peaceful things.
But we must kindly ask them in,
When we want to dream again.
To see things in a certain light,
For angels have much work it seems.
And though we are not angels all,
We sometimes err, we sometimes fall,
We learn a lesson in our dreams,
In stories that the angels brings.

A Special Star
I stared up into the heavens
Looking for a special star.
One caught my eye. I grabbed it-
Very closely, I put it to my heart,
Endlessly, it shined so bright-
Young and pulsating, it's brightness grew,
One day, I finally understood-
Understood that this star was my love for you.

If Just This Night
If just this night, you take my hand
And lead me to the stars
Forever it will be with me
To cherish what is ours
Not knowing what tomorrow brings
Or where our lives may go
I'll hear your whispered words of love
As gentle breezes blow.
I'll give to you myself this night
My passion, love and heart
Knowing that the time will come
When we will have to part
