"He Cares For Me"


Throughout my life I've searched,
for that one that cared about me.
The one person that would be there,
Each time that I needed him to be.

Some were kind, some were not,
Some just were just around.
But none were what I really needed,
that person could not to be found.

But then one day, out of the blue,
came a man that was not rash.
He was kind to me and also,
had a way to make me laugh.

He excepted me for what I was,
not wanting to change a thing.
He was there when I needed him most,
holding my hand and smiling.

He can't be with me day and night,
and this I can't expect.
But he's with me everyday,
In his thoughts in every respect.

The feelings are there I cannot deny,
where they lead I will not run.
I have searched my life for a special guy,
now my search is done.

Because he has said,
"I Love You"
