Diamond Tag

This is a easy tag tutorial that can be changed to whatever occasion, season you want. I have had alot of fun playing with this one.

You will need the following items:

Texture, Gradient, stained glass of your choice OR ULead Art Texture

Diamond Template

Graphic of your choice

Unzip diamondtemplate and open in PSP. Hit Shift/D to duplicate to a new image then close the original diamondtemplate.

Set your texture, gradient or stained glass in your background pallet if this is what you have decided to use.

On the diamondtemplate,go to the layer palette and highlight the "top" layer. With the magic wand set at tolerance 0, feather 0, sample merged unchecked, select one of the black lines. Selections, modify, select similar.

Flood fill with texture, gradient or stained glass if you choose.

OR

Go to effects Ulead Effects/Art Texture. (paint 1) Choose a pattern you would like. You can play with the Art Texture a bit to see the different patterns they have available. Load Library (paint 2)to see more, click on the "Edit" button (paint 3) below the Pallet ramp for gold patterns also. I have used Palette 54 for my tag.

Effects/Inner Bevel with the following settings.

Deselect.

Repeat instructions of "top" layer for bottom layer.

With bottom layer still highlighted, go layers and add a new layer.

Go to the image you have selected and copy. Go back to your new image and paste as new image. Place your image where you would like it. It will appear to be in the middle of the diamond.

On the layer palette, highlight the top layer and add a new layer.

With the eyedropper tool, select two colors from your image for background and forground colors. Open your text tool and select the font you wish to use. I have used WaldorfScript, size 48. You can set the size to whatever size looks best for your font you are using. Arrange your wording below the diamondtemplate as shown.

Effects/Inner Bevel using same settings.

Deselect.

Layers/Merge/Merge Visable.

Image/resize. Save as a gif image.

Hope you had fun making your tag!
