You will need the following for this tutorial: VM Instant Art/Spider Web Corner tube, owl tube and graphic can be downloaded Here.


Select your graphic and duplicate it. Close your original.

Choose two contrasting colors from your graphic. I chose DCE6F2 and 4E648D for my colors. It doesn't matter which you put in the foreground/background. *S* I will just call them light or dark colors.

Image/Add borders = 5 semetric Select the border with your magic wand and floodfill with your dark color.

Image/Add borders = 35 semetric Select the border with your magic wand and floodfill with your light color.

Image/Add borders = 5 semetric Select the border with your magic wand and floodfill with your dark color.

Image/Add borders = 5 semetric Select the border with your magic wand and floodfill with your light color.

Image/Add borders = 5 semetric Select the border with your magic wand and floodfill with your dark color.

This is what you should have now.



With your magic wand select both of the light borders. You may have to hold down the Shift key while doing this.

Effects/Plugins/VM Instant Art/Spider Web with the following settings:



Effects/3D Effects/Innerbevel with the following settings:



Deselect.

With your magic wand select all three of the dark borders and apply the innerbevel as before "TWICE". Deselect

Layers/Add raster layer. Select the corner tube and resize up to 150% and place in upper left corner. Add a drop shadow as below.



Duplicate this layer and then Image/mirror/flip. You should now have a corner in the upper left corner and one in the lower right corner.

Layers/Add raster layer. Select the bird tube and resize down to 80%. Edit/Copy then go back to your new image and paste as new selection. Move it down to the lower left corner. Add a drop shadow as above.

Layers/Merge all - Flatten.

Resize to your needs. Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen. Save as a jpg.
