My supplies are HERE. This zip includes the graphic and the bgd2.jpg pattern.
Select a dark color from your graphic for foreground. Select the bgd2.jpg as a pattern in your background.
1. Duplicate your graphic and close original. Effects/3D Effects/Buttonize using these settings. Color should be the dark color you picked from your graphic.
2. Use your selection tool set to Elipse 0 feather Anti-alias checked. Draw a elipse centered in your graphic. Look at my graphic at the beginning of the tutorial for placement. You can see what you will be highlighting so you can move the elipse around for size and placement according to your graphic. Selections/Invert - Adjust/Blur/Gausian Blur with this setting. Deselect.
3. Add 10 pixel border on left and top (make sure you take the check off the symmetric) -
4. Using your magic wand, select the new border. Flood fill will the bgd2 pattern. Effects/Innerbevel/metalic preset - deselect. (shown below)
5. Add 15 pixel border on left and top - (Border settings same as above only change left and top settings to 15) Select new border with magic wand. Flood fill with darker color - Effects/Reflections/Kaleideoscope - Deselect.
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4.
7. Add 15 pixel border on left and top - (Same settings as above only changing left and tops settings to 15 pixels) Select with magic wand. Flood fill with darker color - Effects/Texture Effects/Glass-Antique with these settings.
8. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow with these settings. Then deselect.
9. Repeat steps 3 thru 6 but change the border to the right and bottom throughout these steps.
10. Add 10 pixel border all around (symmetric is checked). Select with magic wand. Flood fill with the pattern and use the innerbevel effect used in step 4.
11. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow with same settings as above. Repeat drops shadow changing horizontal and vertical to -1. Deselect.
12. Add 25 pixel border to left and top.
13. Flood fill with dark color. Effects/Plugins/DragonFly/Sindots II with these settings. Color is the same color you have been using as your dark color. Click OK then deselect.
14. Add 5 pixel border all around and flood fill with pattern. Use metalic preset inner bevel.
12. Resize to suit and save as a jpg.
