For The Love Of Their Country For the love of their country, they left me, and went to far off lands, that I will never see. Away they were sent by this country, you see, So you and I might always be free. They leave behind their families and wives, To go off and serve their country, and offer up their lives They took an oath to protect us, to honor their country's call, But I know some might not come home at all.
